Walking by the Way

Join the conversation in Walking by the Way, a safe online  community for Christian women
to nurture relational, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness as we learn and grow together.

Sparrow - God notices and care about you

Consider this:

  • You are one of God’s unique, purposefully designed creations. He delights in caring for you. He “rejoices over you” and wants to “quiet you by his love” (Zeph 3.17 ESV).
  • There is no darkness or danger, internal or external, that can keep you from his care and love.
  • Life is too short to be complacent about living out your purpose and calling. Be refined daily by God’s love and refreshed with joy and new confidence. Be nurtured and encourage others along life’s way.
  • Come discover a deeper faith walk based on loving, gracious relationships with God and others.

When you join the Walking by the Way community:

  • Engage in meaningful conversations about real-life issues with other Christian women, like yourself,  during live Group Calls (Zoom). Ask questions, get training and coaching with current needs.
  • Explore learning resources that include curated information on whole-person wellness.
  • Get fresh perspectives on nurturing your relationship with God, yourself, and others.
  • Expect to make new friends while you learn and encourage each other.
  • Engage at your own pace, schedule, and comfort level.

Come walk along the way with us!

Walking by the Way (WBW) combines facilitated learning with an encouraging small community of Christian women plus the convenience of safe online access and interaction.

  • Start where you are – new to faith walking – or seasoned faith walker – and take the next growth challenge that fits your present needs.
  • Designed with a balanced, biblical Christian perspective.
  • Not restricted to a specific Bible translation but the ESV is used in community content.
  • Best of all, the WBW community is safely private, ad-free, and social media-free.

Walking by the Way is moving!

Our community will no longer be hosted on the Circle platform.

But our members will still enjoy opportunities to learn and grow together in a supportive, friendly small-group atmosphere.

  1. Group calls are still held on the first and third Tuesday evenings each month via Zoom.
  2. Our conversations still focus on personal growth across four key areas: relational, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness.

Our theme verse remains:

Co1. 1: 10 So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. (ESV)

Overwhelmed woman

When struggles arise

It’s not just our schedules that are overloaded. Our body, soul, and spirit bear the weight of our complicated life.

Joy is dampened as our energy gets drained. Add to that the weight of other losses, including relational, financial, or career-related. Where will you find the margin to respond well to the next request or need?

What if your day could start and end differently?

We were designed to live physically, emotionally, and spiritually in community. When we encourage each other and work as a team, we grow stronger.

Let’s banish “overwhelmed” together!
Distress of family discord

When differences divide

Our disagreements don’t have to end in arguments.

What about the ripple effect when discord at home is more prevalent than harmony? Will their relationships mirror the contention?

What seems manageable to you may be more distressing to your children, friends, and family than you realize.

It is time to learn (or relearn) the relational skills and conflict resolution skills that will help restore harmony. As you put these skills into practice, others around you will also flourish.

Let’s partner to restore harmony!
Discouraged woman

When life is just plain hard

Difficult circumstances, losses, illness, and caregiving can mount up. It can feel like a vice grip is tightening and squeezing the life out of us.

Are you facing difficulties alone? Do you wish you could talk with someone but are uncertain who could help or feel ashamed to ask? Silence and isolation will never bring you the healing that you long to experience.

You need a safe place where you can be heard with compassionate understanding. Our team is equipped to help you address your emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. Every change begins with a first step.

Let’s take that step forward as a team!
